Client

Connect to deployed ClawRun instances with ClawRunClient.

ClawRunClient is the entry point for connecting to deployed agent instances. It creates ClawRunInstance objects that you use for all subsequent operations.

Creating a client

import { ClawRunClient } from "@clawrun/sdk";

const client = new ClawRunClient();

Connecting to an instance

Pass the deployed URL and the JWT secret (from clawrun.json):

const instance = client.connect("https://my-agent.vercel.app", "your-jwt-secret");

The client signs a short-lived JWT for each API call. No tokens are stored.

With sandbox access

To use direct sandbox operations (exec, file read/write, snapshots), provide the sandbox config:

const instance = client.connect("https://my-agent.vercel.app", "your-jwt-secret", {
  provider: "vercel",
  providerOptions: { projectDir: "/path/to/.vercel" },
});

// Now instance.sandbox is available
const sandboxes = await instance.sandbox.list();

Browser usage

For browser-based clients (web dashboards), use cookie-based auth instead of JWT:

import { ClawRunInstance } from "@clawrun/sdk";

// No JWT — relies on session cookies from /auth/accept
const instance = ClawRunInstance.browser("https://my-agent.vercel.app");
const health = await instance.health();
